If you Google “MW2 cracked versus retail” look for a link on the ” PC Perspective Forums” – it might be the first one. Depends on your pref. And look for a thread on “IGN Boards”, a few links down. That covers most of it.

yeah but official copies of the game can still use the unofficial servers, i was just wondering what perks (no pun intended lol) the cracked versions have over the retail versions

The official servers are a pile of crap. That’s what has ruined MW2 for PC users. That was the whole point of COD, the online play. They destroyed it. At least with the cracked servers you aren’t limited with it’s possibilities.

what do you mean the cracked version is better than the retail version? Im pretty sure you cant play on official servers with a cracked version of the game, well thats the case with other games.

Ugh, it’s a really shame. MW2 was pretty shit once I finished it. Thought it was okay but nothing to spend money on in terms of Prestigious editions. PC Gaming is being destroyed because of consoles. That sad thing is, the cracked versions of MW2 for PC is actually better than the retail.

that doesnt do shit for me i cant use that with the game or anything, horrible choice for an extra item, maybe a limited editon headset for live or mw2 hard drive, just sumthing tht could apply to the game wich now that you have night visin goggles you can turn off the lights in your house in go blind starring at the Fucking tv!
